Annapurna Himal

Annapurna Himal lies in the north of Pokhara, which is secondly discovered by foreign trekkers. Trekking trails in the Annapurna Himal region are much commercialized. It offers the magnificent scenery of icy pinnacled Himalaya range of Annapura region and immense icy walls, exploring the picturesque hamlets and mountain villages inhabited by mostly Gurung and Magar ethnic groups of people existing on high elevation and Brahman, Chhetri ethnic in lower part. Pokhara, where different trekking starts in the Annapurna Himal region is easily accessible either by 6 hours tourist bus ride or by 35 minutes exciting flight from Kathmandu City.
