Khumbu is one of the well acknowledged in the world as a land of
the World's tallest Mount Everest and the native place of Sherpa
people; which is situated in the northeast in map of Nepal. Lukla,
the entry door of Khumbu is reached by a flight from Kathmandu in
twin otter aircraft. Only few hours trekking from highland of Lukla
arrived to the entry point of Sangarmatha National Park and Namche
Bazaar - capital city and commercial center of Khumbu valley. Continue
the journey through Tyangboche Monastery, situated below on the
shadow of Ama Doblam (6.921 m), Gorap Shep is final camp of this
trekking and in dawn hiking up to Kala Pattar (5.616 m), viewing
Mt. Everest, rounded with other giants, Nupse, Lhotse and other
snowy mountains. The journey returns the same way till Lukla and
fly back to Kathmandu.
ITINERARY : :
Day 01. Arrival at Kathmandu. Day 02. Kathmandu - Sight seeing.
Day 03. Kathmandu - Lukla flight. Day 04 - 15 Trekking to Everest
Base Camp and return to Lukla. Day 16. Lukla - Kathmandu flight.
Day 17. Kathmandu - fee day or Sight seeing. Day 18. Departure from
Kathmandu.
