15 Days Cultural//Trekking//Wildlife package
Day 01
Arrive at Trivuban International Airport, transfer to our office and check in hotel. Arrival dinner and Nepalese cultural show consisting of folk songs. Typical dances and classical music. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02
Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley---
Morning: The Great Stupa of Swayamvu, Ananda-Kuti Vihar, Kantipur Durbar Square for Hanuman Dhoka, the Old Royal Palace, Taleju Bhawani Temple, King Malla Statue, Titanic Bell, Nine-Storey Basantapur Palace, Kasthamandap Wooden Pagoda, Ashok Binayak Temple, Stone Image of Garud, Gaddi Baithak (Hall of Audience), Kumari House of the Chaste Virgin Living Goddess. Lunch Break
Afternoon: Lalitpur Durbar Square along with the Old Royal Palace, Golden Gate, Golden Window, Taleju Bhawani Chowk, Krishna Mandir, King Malla Statue, Titanic Bell. Hiranyabarna Mahavihar, Mangal Bazaar, Mahaboudha Shrine, Aksheshwor Mahavihar, Ashokan Stupas, Patan Industrial Estate, Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Jawalakhel Handicraft Center. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu City.
Day 03
Early morning drive to Pokhara and check in Hotel
Lunch on the middle of the highway.
Day 04
Pokhara-New Bridge drive and trekking to Tikhedhunga and over night.
Day 05
Tikhedhunga-Ghorepani trekking and over night in tent.
Day 06
Ghorepani-poon Hill for sun rises tour in the early morning.
Ghorepani-Tadapani trekking and over night over night tent.
Day 07
Tadapani-Ghandruk trekking and over night in tent.
Day 08
Ghandruk-Pothan trekking and over night tent.
Day 09
Pothana - Pokhara trekking and over night in Hoel.
Day 10
Early morning Drive to Chitwan.
Afternoon: Pick up by Land rover or elephants at the roadside village of Sunachari, which is 2.5 km from our resort. Upon arrival, lunch will be served, rooms assigned and and there will be a short brifing on the program and our facilities.
4:00pm: Elephant back safari:Gusests will ride on elephant to explore jungle and wildlife the one horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, solth bear, leopard and if you are lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours.
Slide presentation: One of our jungle expert will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.
8:00 pm: Dinner in the central dining hall.
Day 11
5:30 am: wake up call followed by tea or coffee, then proceed on a Nature walk. This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and riverline jungle. Our guide will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter.
8:30 am: Breakfast
9:30 am: Elephant brefing prigram: Learn more about there fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables. (For the brave ones there is even a crash course in riding and leading the elephants)
1:00 pm: Lunch in the central dining hall.
Remaining hours before the afternoon program: take a dip in the pool or relax on your verandah. Hammocks and the library are at your disposal.
4:00 pm: Canoeing: A traditional dugout canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti river to view aquatic birds and the animals of the riverbanks. Back to the resort through the jungle.
7:00 pm: Tharu Stick Dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.
8:00 pm: Dinner at the central dining hall.
Day 12
5:30 am: Bird watching (or another elephant ride on availability) after early morning tea/coffee. Out of 519 species of the birds we have recorded 276 species in our area. Hence, this location is considered as the paradise for bird watchers. Our guides will help you to indentify some of the species of these
birds.
8:00 am: Breakfast
9:00 am: Departure for return journey to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
The actual program for your stay with us will be given to you on arrival at Resort. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay, the season and present weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice. On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by our expert naturalist who will advise on safety procedures and we request you to respect their judgment at all times. If you wish to stroll in the forest along, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety.
Day 13
Sight-Seeing of Kathmandu Valley---
Morning: Bhadgaon for Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Golden Gate, Fifty-Five Windowed Palace, King Malla Statue, Titanic Bell, Taleju Bhawani Temple, NYATAPOUL Pagoda and Bhairav Temple in Toumadhi Square, Pottery Quarter, Datta-Traya Square for Pujari Math Temple and Peacock Window and Industrial Estate. Lunch Break: Champak Narayan Temple at Changu Hil---the oldest Hindu temple of Kathmandu Valley.
Afternoon: Boudha Stupa at Tibet Town, Charumati Shrine at Chabahil, Pashupati-Nath Temple of Devpattan by the holy Bagmati River, Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu City.
Day 14
Early morning mountain flight to experience the Great Everest Peak for which you will be certified as a friend of SAGARMATHA---the King of the Himalayas.
Later shopping and strolling around Kathmandu City.
Day 15
Farewell session, transfer to Trivuban International Airport for the final departure. |
