Marshyangdi River

Definitely the steepest and most challenging river in the rafting world, Marshyangdi means "Raging River" in the local dialect and this appropriately describes one of the best white water running in the world through unanticipated continuous, exhilarating white water and Great Mountain surroundings. We trek through charming Gurung villages and arid valley for a one-day trek to reach Ngadi, where we put in. Few rivers rival this for exhilarating white water and sustained sections of steep technical and totally run able rafting. Rapids are steep, technically demanding and uninterrupted, making Marshyangdi River a serious undertaking, a one in a lifetime experience.
