Karnali River

The River Karnali, Nepal's mightiest river descends through the Himalayas in the series of magnificent gorges pristine forest in the far west of Nepal. It is called "Wild of West". The rises in the High Himalayas in Tibet near Mt. Kailash, which is combined Holy Mountain for both Buddhist and Hindus. Then it flows in lows through wild and unspoiled with some of the pristine jungle scenery in Nepal and profuse wildlife. The Karnali is a gem, combining lowland trek for two days in the Nepal's most isolated and least explored area.

Wonderful big volume of water in the river through tropical jungle, desolate beaches and small villages, the rapids are also petty boondocks, with the river building to its climax in these subordinate canyons. In a matter of hours, and as the river rises the impenetrability amplify exponentially.

Distance: 180 kms.

Day 01 

Whole day and night drives and Arrive in to Surkhet next morning then organize porters.

Day 02-03  Trekking with porters to the Karnali River and start rafting.
Day 03-09  Rafting and explore the gorge of the Karnali river.
Day 09  Raft to Chisopani and start driving to Kathmandu.
Day 10  Arrive back to Kathmandu by morning.
